Who is Mystical Moon?

Hi, I’m Gem, and I’m so excited to welcome you to Mystical Moon Leeds! If you’ve been to our little shop in Leeds Kirkgate Market, you’ll know it’s a place filled with magic, love, and light. But I’m thrilled to share that, as of January 16th, we’re launching this website to help reach even more of you—no matter where you are in the UK.

Mystical Moon has been a dream of mine for as long as I can remember. Ever since I was a little girl, I’ve been fascinated by astrology. I’d eagerly read my horoscope every morning in the paper, looking for signs that matched my day. Sometimes they were spot on, and it sparked something in me that has never gone away. When I started heading into town with friends, I’d buy star sign books and devour them, front to back, learning everything I could. Over time, I discovered crystals, mood rings, tarot, and oracle cards—they just drew me in. Back then, we didn’t have the internet to explain these things, but I could feel their energy and knew they were special.

Later in life, I began journaling, manifesting, and creating vision boards to set my goals and bring my dreams into reality. And it worked! I’ve manifested so many things, including the very car that was once just a picture on my vision board. It’s not just a similar one—the actual car. How amazing is that?

Mystical Moon Leeds finally became a reality in November 2024, when my dad retired and offered to run the shop while I continue working full-time. Thanks to his support, we opened in the beautiful 1904 Hall at Leeds Kirkgate Market. We’re proud to be a family-run business, from the very start, it’s been a labor of love for our entire family. 

Our shop is more than just a place to buy crystals or tarot cards; it’s a space where you can feel supported and inspired. I’ve always believed I’m here to help people find themselves and create love and light in a sometimes dark world. Being born on the 22nd—a master builder number—only deepens that calling for me.
